As a convenient way to get the testing you need, we can draw your blood in our office. All blood tests require an order from Dr. Harrison, and can be done immediately following your visit, or you can schedule for a later time. When the results are available, Dr. Harrison will review them and then post the information to the patient portal for you to view.
One of the most common blood tests we perform is a lipid (cholesterol) test. This is done during most annual physicals, or if you currently have high cholesterol. To prepare for this blood test, please do not eat or drink anything, except water or black coffee, for 8 hours before your appointment so we can get the most accurate result possible.
